Job Description

A global consulting company seeks a sharp, detailed, and experienced Executive Assistant to add to their growing team in downtown Chicago. The Executive Assistant will provide support to a small group of senior level executives with calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting in addition to managing other administrative team members. This is an excellent role for someone who takes initiative and has extensive administrative support experience. The salary for this role is up to $100k and is a great opportunity to join a successful firm.

 

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant/Administrative Manager:

  • Manage coordination of complex calendars and agendas
  • Coordinate extensive travel arrangements and maintain itineraries
  • Communicate directly with and on behalf of executives and assist in document preparation
  • Plan events, off-site meetings, and conferences including catering
  • Manage administrative team including setting best practices, work flow coverage, and other supervisory responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and invoices
Job Requirements

Requirements of the Executive Assistant/Administrative Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 10+ years of administrative experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively and efficiently
  • Self-starter who is proactive, concise, and consistent
