Job Description

A Chicago-based education network is seeking a self-starting EA to the CEO to join their team. The EA to the CEO will set the CEO up for success by organizing their day-to-day and preventing obstacles before they arise. In addition, the EA to the CEO will take on project management and event planning. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting a C-suite individual who can take initiative and meet deadlines. The salary range for this role is $65-85K.

 

Responsibilities of the EA to the CEO:

  • Provide full administrative support to the CEO
  • Increase CEO’s productivity through preparation and anticipation of needs
  • Manage full cycle of projects; enforce timelines and update CEO accordingly
  • Heavy calendaring and schedule coordinating
  • Draft professional correspondence with donors, vendors, and more
  • Event planning, coordination, and execution
Job Requirements

Requirements of the EA to the CEO:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Experience supporting a C-level executive
  • Prior experience in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and step in as a leader
  • Collaborative and professional when working with others
