Job Description

A family-owned foundation is seeking a reliable and eager Executive/Personal Assistant to join their team in Chicago, Illinois. The Executive/Personal Assistant will support the President with all administrative responsibilities as well as take on administrative and office management tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who knows how to use discretion in their work and is a mature, motivated professional. This is also a great fit for someone familiar with investments and charitable donations. The salary range for this role is $65k-$100k dependent on experience.

 

Responsibilities of the Executive/Personal Assistant:

  • Scheduling and coordination including travel and itineraries
  • Respond to family members’ requests, assisting as needed
  • Oversee office inventory, replenishing as necessary
  • Manage invoice payments and office budget
  • Track transactions and keep detailed records
  • Process payroll and tax filings
  • Prepare checks for donations and investments
Job Requirements

Requirements of the Executive/Personal Assistant:

  • BA required (3.0 GPA minimum)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience
  • Background in investment industries or non-profit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, payroll and tax forms
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent and able to multi-task
