Job Description

A prominent consulting firm located in downtown Chicago seeks a detail-oriented and professional Facilities Assistant to join their expanding team! The Facilities Assistant will provide support to the Office Services team including managing the conference room schedule and equipment setup, ordering and stocking office and kitchen supplies, and maintaining daily operations of the office space. The ideal candidate will be flexible and have a team player attitude. The salary range for this role is $45-55k.

Responsibilities of the Facilities Assistant:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Office Services Team
  • Prepare and maintain office cleanliness and orderliness
  • Order and manage office supplies and restock kitchen
  • Schedule conference rooms and handle equipment setup
  • Assist with printing, copying, and binding requests
  • Backup reception- field and route calls, and greet guests
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed

Job Requirements

Requirements of the Facilities Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of corporate office experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Ability to multitask, adapt, and be flexible
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
