Job Description

An innovative and growing technology company in Chicago is seeking an experienced and organized Human Resources Benefits Specialist to add to their growing team. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including company paid benefits, a monthly wellness stipend, and opportunities for student loan reimbursement, paid overtime and more! In addition to ensuring accurate benefits administration and compliance, the HR Benefits Specialist will handle all daily HR operations for new hires as well as current employees with the utmost discretion. This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in Human Resources and is comfortable developing and implementing new processes. The salary range for this role is up to $100,000K/yr commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities of the HR Benefits Specialist:

  • Onboarding, verifications and more
  • Support current employees with document verification and residency application questions
  • Manage HRIS data and ensure accuracy and compliance of employee files
  • Review applicable employment laws to maintain compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Oversee all hires, promotions, and exits within the company
  • Manage, administer, and ensure compliance of benefits
  • Handle performance and compensation reviews
Job Requirements

Requirements of the HR Benefits Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required- HR, Business, or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR
  • Experience with benefits administration and regulation knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Workday and knowledge of immigration law preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
