Job Description

A large, mission-driven nonprofit located in the Loop is looking for a detailed and proactive Office Coordinator to join their team. The Office Coordinator will provide comprehensive support for the office ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. Responsibilities will also include managing and maintaining office records and documents, handling office inventory and ordering supplies, and acting as liaison for vendors and maintenance personnel. Pay up to $23/hr.

Responsibilities of the Office Coordinator:

  • Provide support to the Management team with events, projects, and scheduling logistics
  • Provide front desk reception support by fielding and routing calls and greeting guests
  • Manage office inventory, order supplies, and restock kitchen
  • Maintain and update office records and documents
  • Liaise with clients, guests, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed
Job Requirements

Requirements of the Office Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in administrative or office support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
