Job Description

A financial services firm is seeking a dependable Receptionist to join their team in Chicago, IL. The Receptionist will run the front office in addition to assisting with other tasks including HR projects and event planning. This a great opportunity for someone who is flexible and willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. The compensation for this role is $16-$17/hr during the temporary period and $17-$20/hr when the role becomes permanent.

 

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Answer phones promptly and professionally
  • Greet visitors in a friendly and attentive manner
  • Upkeep of office inventory; replenishing as needed
  • Maintenance of office equipment and cleanliness
  • Data entry and other administrative tasks
  • Prepare mail and distribute appropriately
  • Support HR with any projects or needs
  • Conference room coordination and scheduling
  • Event planning and catering coordination
  • Run errands and other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements

Requirements of the Receptionist:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional office experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do attitude
