Please visit our ‘Current Openings’ page which lists all of the openings we are actively recruiting for, or send us your resume directly via mail@mackltd.com. It is not necessary to apply to each position individually, as we will have your information on file once your initial application is received.
As we receive hundreds of applications daily, please allow for 3-5 business days from the time of your submittal. Because we receive such a high volume of applicants, we only contact those candidates who have backgrounds matching the requests of the employers hiring.
If your work experience, background, and additional qualifications match those required by one of the employers we represent, you will be contacted by a recruiter directly
There is no charge associated with our permanent placement or temporary staffing services for candidates.
We offer both temporary staffing and permanent placement positions throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs based on the needs of our clients.
We work with a variety of industries and company sizes, so there are a vast assortment of options you are able to consider. Industries we frequently work with include real estate, technology, consulting, marketing, legal, insurance, accounting, finance, architecture, construction, education, and non-profit organizations… in addition to countless others!
We are approached by thousands of candidates and, unfortunately, are not able to help everyone. A common misconception we encounter is that each person feels they are guaranteed an interview and/or a job through a recruiting firm. While we wish that were the case, it just isn’t feasible as not everyone has the background or qualifications the employers require. At times, this can lead to frustration from job seekers and result in negative reviews towards the recruiting firms.
We have placed thousands of candidates that are truly happy in their experience with Mack & Associates, Ltd. One of the largest sources of our placements come from our past candidate referrals (candidates that we placed that loved our services and wanted their friends and colleagues to have the same experience). Our job placement services offer a variety of positions under the administrative staffing umbrella, which can range from entry-level administrative and clerical roles all the way through administrative management/operations roles.
Often times, the roles we staff are classic “assistant” roles like Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants, while others are support related coordinators. These roles include marketing, customer service, event planners, human resources, and operations.

While we do see a number of roles requiring prior administrative experience, we also staff for entry-level positions as well as work with individuals who are in the process of transitioning careers. We frequently work with professionals transitioning from retail management, hospitality, event planning, etc. to the corporate environment. Please do send us your resume and one of our experienced recruiters will review it and contact you if your background is a match for any our active searches.
We do offer supplemental insurance as well as a Minimum Essential Coverage plan, which are available to our temporary staffing employees. We are happy to provide additional details should you be interested in learning more.
We pay our temporary staffing employees weekly and conveniently offer direct deposit.
Many of our candidates will work short-term assignments while searching for a permanent position, as this is a great way to gain experience, meet influential hiring managers, and get a little extra cash in your pocket!
Yes, we encourage each and every candidate to utilize all of their resources during their job search. We simply request that candidates maintain open lines of communication in terms of their availability and current status of their job search.
There are several variables that affect the length of time it takes to secure a position, including the current market and openings available, employer urgency and timeline, and your specific interests and qualifications.
Your job search is unique to you and while there is no guaranteed average timeline, you can expect your recruiter to keep you posted every step of the way!
